If you've ever looked closely at a neck tie, especially a well made tie from Italy, you would be amazed at the variety of colors and detail just in the span of an inch. This is the color and detail that must be reproduced when selling ties in a catalog. Capital Clothing was getting complaints. People weren't receiving the product they thought they were buying. An orange tie looked pink or a red tie looked purple "in the catalog". When we met them in 1999, they were at their wits end but after a day of digitally photographing ties and comparing colors on the monitor to that of the actual tie they started breathing again and when they compared the actual tie to the printed proofs they knew they were back in business. We even pointed them in the direction of a high quality printer in the area. We've continued producing the annual catalog, accurately capturing the exquisite detail and color in ties and clothing.
